Over the last two years, SMS UK has been building a Structural Health Monitoring Digital Twin System with Mitsubishi Shipping as our worldwide partner and the University of Strathclyde as our Scottish partner. This partnership brings together the unique skills and knowledge of a major corporation, an innovative SME and world-leading academia to collaborate on a leading-edge structural health monitoring system, which is also part of an international research and development programme with Scottish Enterprise and Nippon Foundation. This month marked a critical milestone for the Structural Health Monitoring Digital Twin System, as the project completed one of its testing phases.
