Real-Time Particle Size Analyser
OVERVIEW
At SMS, we provide both in-house and field analysis of oil, gas, and sand content in produced liquids. Our EEx Real-Time Particle Size Analyser simplifies this critical process by simultaneously detecting and measuring the concentration of solids, oil, and gas in liquid, enhancing operational efficiency and personnel safety both onshore and offshore. The RT-PSA instrument is equally applicable to produced water treatment systems as it is to hydrocarbon wells.
Using our Inflow Particle Size Analyser, particle images are captured and processed through advanced software. This enables real-time analysis of suspended particulates (sand, water, oil, gas bubbles, etc.), delivering precise data on particle size, shape, and concentration.
Typical applications include measurement of Sand in Water (SIW), Sand in Oil (SIO), Oil in Water (OIW) and Water in Oil (WIO).
Unlike traditional methods, the RT-PSA system eliminates the need for manual sample handling, allowing clients to access live sand and particle size distribution (PSD) data from online processes - even in hazardous process medium containing mercury, TENORM, H2S, or high CO2 levels.
