OVERVIEW

In the presence of air and moisture, H2S has the aptitude to corrode internal surfaces of various components while developing a hazardous atmosphere that will impact personnel health and safety. Detecting and monitoring H2S gas at an early stage will provide an instantaneous alarm for life-critical safety scenarios and potentially premature failure to well test engineers.

REAL-TIME MULTIGAS ANALAYSER

The SMS Real-Time Multigas Analyser uses Tunable Filter Spectroscopy (TFS) technology to analyse gas composition in real-time.

Our TFS analyser goes beyond standard H2S and CO2 measurements, offering precise detection of alkane gases, including Metane, Ethane, Propane, Butane, Pentane, and Hexane with precision. Specific Gravity can also be selected as an output. The portable equipment has ultra-compact features, making it easy to transport for multiple fields.

The analyser connects via small-bore pipework and can be installed as a temporary or permanent solution on process pipework. Designed for both Central Processing Facilities (CPFs) and hazardous offshore environments, it seamlessly integrates into existing systems, enhancing operational efficiency without disruption

    • i-Butane (C₄H₁₀): 1000ppm - 10%
    • n-Butane (C₄H₁₀) + n-Pentane (C5H12): 1000ppm - 10%
    • i-Pentane (C₅H₁₂): 1000ppm - 10%
    • Carbon Dioxide (CO2): 0.02% - 50% 200ppm - 500,000ppm
    • Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): 0.02% - 50% 200ppm - 500,000ppm

    • Gas Channels: ±0.3 mol% or ±1% of Full Scale or ±3% of Reading (greater of)
