OVERVIEW

In the presence of air and moisture, H2S has the aptitude to corrode internal surfaces of various components while developing a hazardous atmosphere that will impact personnel health and safety. Detecting and monitoring H2S gas at an early stage will provide an instantaneous alarm for life-critical safety scenarios and potentially premature failure to well test engineers.

REAL-TIME H2S ANALYSER

SMS' Real-Time H2S Analyzer uses the Lead Acetate Rapid Reaction Method (LARRM) to analyse H2S Concentration in real-time.

Sulphur compounds in the sample stream are analyzed by the sensor block for instantaneous output of H2S Concentration in % or ppm. An in-built sample conditioning system ensures sample gas is filtered, pressure regulated, and flow controlled prior to entering the sample chamber.

Ideal for accurate measurement at low concentrations, the EEX rated analyser connects via small-bore pipework and can be installed as a temporary or permanent solution on process pipework. Designed for both Central Processing Facilities (CPFs) and hazardous offshore environments, it seamlessly integrates into existing systems, enhancing operational efficiency without disruption.

  • Data Output: H2S - ppm or %
  • Measurement Range: Dual range: 0-200ppm or 0%-0.02% &0-300,000ppm or 0-30%
  • Max H2S Concentration: 30% or 300,000ppm
  • Accuracy: +/- 1.5% of full-scale standard range, +/- 2.5% of full-scale high range
