The past few months have been extremely hectic for us at SMS. Not to mention our UK team which is actively working on the Structural Health Monitoring Digital Twin System, enhancing the technical and commercial viability of the Hull Monitoring features to maximise overall business value.

To fully realise our prototype, the team has been collaborating with multidisciplinary groups from Mitsubishi Shipping and the University of Strathclyde, with support from the Nippon Foundation and Scottish Enterprise.

Last week, our Operations Director, Andrew Kinsler, along with our Commercial Advisor, Tony Laing, and Technology Group Manager, Stuart Wood, paid a visit to Scottish Enterprise to meet Scott Wilson and Elaine Fellowes to provide an update on the ongoing project.
